Hot Vinyasa Yoga 6-7pm

This heated vinyasa class is designed to feel warm, supportive and energising, rather than overwhelming. The heat from infra red heaters is dry and comfortable, helping the body move more freely — especially during the colder months.

The pace is dynamic but accessible, with options offered throughout so you can adjust the practice to suit your body and experience.

Ideal if you enjoy movement that builds warmth, strength and focus, while still feeling well guided and supported.

A strong, energetic way to start the week.

Heated Slow Flow & Stretch 7:15-8:15pm

This is a gently heated, slower-paced class designed to help you unwind, stretch and settle at the end of the day. The warmth is mellow rather than intense, making it a lovely option if you want the comfort of heat without a strong physical demand.

Expect unhurried movement, longer holds, and plenty of time to soften and breathe.

The class is suitable for all levels and particularly supportive if you’re feeling tired, stiff, or simply want something nurturing. Ideal if you are trying hot yoga for the first time.

A calm, cosy way to start the week.

Heated Mondays FAQs

What does “heated” actually mean here?

The studio is warm rather than extreme. We use dry heat, which feels comfortable and supportive — not sticky or humid. The temperature has been carefully tested and adjusted, and the feedback so far has been reassuringly consistent: “The heat was just right.” The aim is to support movement and relaxation, especially during colder months — not to overwhelm you.

Do I need to have done hot yoga before?

No. Most people coming to Heated Mondays are trying heated classes for the first time. You don’t need experience, confidence, or flexibility. Everything is taught with options, and you’re always encouraged to move at your own pace.

What’s the difference between the two Monday evening classes?

6–7pm | Hot Vinyasa Flow

This class is warmer and more dynamic, with flowing movement that builds heat and energy. Ideal if you enjoy feeling properly warm as you move.

7:15–8:15pm | Slow Flow & Stretch (heated)

This class is gently warm, slower paced, and very mellow. Perfect if you want the comfort of heat without intensity, or if you’re feeling tired, stiff, or simply want something nourishing.

If you’re unsure where to start, many people choose the Slow Flow & Stretch first.

What if I feel too warm?

You’re always free to:

  • pause

  • rest

  • change how you’re moving

  • or step outside the room if needed

There’s no expectation to push through discomfort. Listening to your body is actively encouraged.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear what you’d normally practice in — light, comfortable clothing works well

Bring water.

You can bring your own mat if you have one and prefer it (or borrow ours)

A small towel is optional (many people don’t need one due to the dry heat)

We stock a small selection of hot yoga towels and rugs that you can put on top of our mat

No special equipment or preparation required.

Is it suitable if I’m stiff, returning after a break, or not very fit?

Yes. In fact, many people find warmth particularly helpful if they’re feeling stiff, tight, or sluggish.

All classes are taught with clear guidance and options, so you can adapt the practice to suit where you’re at on the day.

Why practice in a warm room at all?

Many people find that warmth:

  • helps muscles and joints feel more at ease

  • allows movement to feel smoother

  • encourages relaxation and focus

  • feels especially supportive during winter

If you’d like to read more about this, there’s also a short blog on the website explaining why warmth can be beneficial — and why it doesn’t need to be extreme.

Still unsure?

That’s completely normal.

If you’re curious but hesitant, you’re very welcome to start gently, ask questions, or simply come and see how it feels. And if there’s anything you’re unsure about that isn’t covered here, you’re always welcome to ask — by email or in person.

Both Monday evening classes are guided by Josie — a very experienced teacher with a calm, inclusive approach and heaps of experience teaching all levels.

There’s no pressure. Just a warm, considered space to move.
